March’s Mouth-Friendly Recipe 2012

Green tea is a great way to get your daily dose of healthy antioxidants which can reduce free radicals contributing to some types of cancers. This recipe is as delicious as it is healthy. Try it in the morning as an energizing pick-me-up or in the afternoon as a healthy snack.

Green Tea Smoothie or Latte

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fat-free vanilla yogurt
  • 1/2 cup fat-free milk
  • 1 tbsp green tea powder
  • 3 cups frozen fruit

Preparation:

  1. Whisk together vanilla yogurt and green tea powder.
  2. Transfer to blender and add milk and frozen fruit.
  3. Process until smooth.
