February’s Mouth-Friendly Recipe 2016

Heart-Shaped Salad Ingredients:

  • 1 package spring salad mix (about 6 cups)
  • 1 large cucumber, sliced
  • 2 red peppers, seeded (tops and bottoms removed)
  • 1 bunch radishes, sliced
  • 1 small brick of partly skim mozzarella cheese
  • 10 to 15 small plum tomatoes, halved
  • 1 bottle roasted red pepper with parmesan salad dressing

Directions: Place the salad mix in a large bowl. With a small, heart-shaped cookie cutter, make heart shapes using the cucumber, red peppers and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle the veggies and cheese over the salad. Just before serving, drizzle with your desired amount of salad dressing and toss until equally distributed. Print this recipe Back to articles
