August’s Mouth-Friendly Recipe 2018

Sandwich on a Stick


  • Bread
  • Cheese
  • Lunchmeat (ham, turkey, chicken – your choice)
  • Grape or cherry tomatoes
  • Lettuce
  • Pickle slices
  • Skewers
  • Assorted condiments for dipping


Cut bread, cheese, and lunchmeat into ½” cubes. You can ask your deli to pre-slice lunchmeat to make this easier. Slide the cubes onto a skewer with the veggies until the skewer is full. Get creative: You can also add olives, cucumbers, and other healthy sandwich fixings.

Try small bowls of mayo, mustard, or hummus for dipping!
